HOW WE HELP

We exist to bridge the gap of homelessness and find a place to live.

Our Approach

01.

Recovery & Transformation

We partner with organizations like the San Diego Rescue Mission, where individuals complete a 12-month faith-based recovery development program.

02.

Graduation & Readiness

Graduation marks a major milestone , but it also introduces a new challenge. We provide housigng assistance so that they are ready.

03.

Rental Assistance & Stability

We provide up to 12 months of rental assistance to help individuals and families transition into stable housing.

The Gap Most People Don’t See

Recovery programs do incredible work helping individuals overcome addiction, rebuild discipline, and prepare for a better future.

But when those programs end, a new challenge begins.

In San Diego, where housing costs are among the highest in the country, even individuals who are employed and ready for independence often cannot afford:

First month's rent

Security deposits

ongoing monthly housing costs

Food for themselves and their family

That’s the gap we fill.

Volunteers Making Heart Shape

A Hand Up — Not a Handout

Our model is built on accountability and empowerment.

We support individuals who have:

  • Completed a structured recovery program

  • Demonstrated commitment to change

  • Secured employment

  • Proven they are ready for the next step

We don’t replace responsibility,we reinforce it.

A Clear Path From Homelessness to Stability

At the Jeremiah Fund, we focus on one of the most critical, and often overlooked, stages of recovery: the transition from homelessness to independent living.

Many individuals complete recovery programs, secure jobs, and rebuild their lives… only to face one final barrier they cannot overcome alone.

Finding a place to live.
